"SERIOUS* traffic violation" means ………. This is federal,

  • Excessive speeding - 15 and over - involving any single offense for any speed of 15 miles per hour or more above the posted speed limit
  • Reckless driving - as defined by State or Local law or regulations - including but not limited to offenses of driving a commercial motor vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property
  • Improper or erratic traffic lane changes
  • Following the vehicle ahead too closely
  • A violation, arising in connection with fatal accident of State or Local law relating to motor vehicle traffic control
  • Driving on a Suspended License
  • Driving out of Service

 

1st Serious Violation
*Driver will be on
Probation for 3 years
2nd Serious Violation
*Driver will lose his
license for 2 months to 1 year
3rd Serious Violation
*Driver will lose his
license for 4 months to 2 years
4th Serious Violation
*Driver can NEVER
DRIVE A TRUCK AGAIN!!
